GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING AND RENTAL OF TOURIST ACCOMMODATION

  1. LEGISLATION.

The rental of tourist accommodation is regulated by the current Tourism Legislation in Catalonia, and more specifically by Decree 159/2012 of November 20.

  1. ACCEPTANCE AND MODIFICATION.

The general terms and conditions set out below constitute a contract between the guest and the property. Tanser Estates SL (hereinafter CAMPING COSTA DORADA) acts as an intermediary between the guest and the property owner and is responsible for the proper execution of the mediation, which is carried out in accordance with current legislation. These general terms and conditions shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with Spanish law, and submitted to the courts of Girona, Spain.

By browsing the CAMPING COSTA DORADA website or making a reservation through this website or at the CAMPING COSTA DORADA offices, the guest declares having read and accepted these general terms and conditions. The general terms and conditions may be modified in order to improve the quality of the services provided.

  1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS.

The guest may book the accommodation by phone, online, or in person at our offices.

To do so, a payment of 25% of the total reservation amount must be made.

Within the following 24 business hours, the guest will receive an email confirming the reservation status.

30 days (or more) before arrival, the guest must pay an additional 25% of the total reservation amount, and the remaining 50% must be paid on the day of arrival.

Payment methods:

Bank transfer (minimum 10 days prior to the arrival date).

Cash.

Credit or debit card (online or directly at the CAMPING COSTA DORADA offices).

In the case of reservations made through third parties (travel agencies, tour operators, or other collaborators authorized by CAMPING COSTA DORADA), their payment conditions will apply.

  1. AMOUNTS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. SECURITY DEPOSIT.

The following amounts are not included in the accommodation price and are mandatory:

Tourist tax (€0.66 per person/day; guests over 16 years old, with a maximum of 7 days per person per stay).

Final cleaning (the cleaning fee depends on the accommodation, ranging from €50 to €299; it is shown in the booking form before payment and includes bed linen).

At check-in, the guest must pay a security deposit. The deposit ranges from €200 to €500 (depending on the accommodation) and will be refunded to the same card or by bank transfer within 7 days after verifying the condition of the accommodation after departure. The full deposit will be refunded unless damage to the accommodation, furniture, or equipment is detected, and/or cases of extreme dirtiness or waste, and/or non-compliance with accommodation rules (section 9). Any costs incurred to restore the accommodation to its original condition will be deducted from the deposit.

  1. ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND OPTIONAL EXTRAS.

The following additional services, not included in the rental price, are available upon prior reservation and subject to availability:

EXTRA set of single bed linen – €14.00 per set***.

EXTRA set of double bed linen – €16.00 per set***.

Shower towel – €6.00 per unit***.

Hand towel – €3.00 per unit***.

Kitchen cloth – €2.00 per unit***.

Beach / pool towel – €6.00 per towel***.

Pet stay – €10 per pet per day**.

Late check-in (after 8:00 p.m.) – €50.

All prices include 21% VAT.

These services are not available for all accommodations and require prior authorization.
* The price includes the rental of one unit and does not include changing bed linen or towels. If the guest wishes to change towels or bed linen during the stay, this service must be booked in advance and paid separately according to the rates listed above.

  1. PRICE, SERVICES, AND PHOTOGRAPH MODIFICATIONS.

Although accommodation descriptions and prices have been prepared with great care, they may occasionally be subject to changes, which will be communicated to the guest by email.

Such changes may occur after booking confirmation and may affect essential points of the contract. In this case, the guest may change the accommodation or cancel the contract without charge within five days, and any payment made will be refunded.

Photographs are representative. Interior decoration may vary.

  1. MINIMUM STAY, CHECK-IN DAY, CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES, MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY.

The minimum stay depends on the accommodation and the season and may range from one night to 14 nights. This information is available on the CAMPING COSTA DORADA website or by phone or email.

Check-in time is from Monday to Saturday between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Check-ins after 8:00 p.m. incur an additional fee of €50.

For check-ins after 9:00 p.m., on Sundays, or public holidays, guests must notify the agency and complete the entire check-in and payment process online (no additional cost). Keys will be collected from a key box using a code.

Check-out time: Guests must vacate the accommodation and return all keys before 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Failure to vacate the accommodation will result in a daily charge of double the agreed daily rate, as well as any claims for damages that may be made by other guests with confirmed reservations.

Key collection and check-in take place at the CAMPING COSTA DORADA campsite, N-2, Km 660, 400, 08360 Canet de Mar, Barcelona.

Occupancy is limited to the maximum number of people specified for each accommodation in the listing. The owner, key holder, or CAMPING COSTA DORADA representative may deny access if the maximum occupancy is exceeded.

  1. CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations by the guest:

If the guest cancels the reservation within 24 hours after the first payment, the cancellation is free of charge and 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.

If the guest cancels from the day after the first payment until 31 calendar days before the arrival date, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total reservation amount.

If the guest cancels between 30 calendar days before arrival and the arrival day itself, the cancellation fee will be 100% of the accommodation amount.

If, during the penalty period, the guest is forced to cancel due to official mobility restrictions that prevent arrival, the amount paid will be converted into a voucher that can be used to make another reservation at any CAMPING COSTA DORADA accommodation within 12 months from the original reservation start date.

If the guest is already staying at a CAMPING COSTA DORADA accommodation and is forced to leave due to official restrictions related to COVID-19, the amount corresponding to unused nights will be converted into a voucher usable within 12 months from the original reservation start date.

If the guest needs to change the number of nights of a future reservation due to official COVID-19 restrictions, the amount corresponding to cancelled nights will be converted into a voucher usable within 12 months from the original reservation start date.

If the guest wishes to change the booked accommodation, they must notify CAMPING COSTA DORADA by email at least one month before the arrival date and wait for confirmation. This change is subject to availability and may incur additional charges, which will be communicated before making any changes.

Cancellations by CAMPING COSTA DORADA:

Failure to receive any reservation payment within the established deadlines will result in immediate cancellation, with charges applied according to the policies above.

In the event of a serious unforeseen issue, CAMPING COSTA DORADA reserves the right to cancel the contract within 24 hours after the first payment, refunding the full amount paid.

If there is an incident affecting the accommodation, CAMPING COSTA DORADA may replace it with another of similar or higher characteristics, or cancel the reservation at the guest’s request and refund the amount paid.

For reservations made through third parties, their cancellation policies will apply.

  1. GUEST OBLIGATIONS AND ACCOMMODATION RULES.

The guest must return the accommodation, furniture, and equipment in good condition and cleanliness (dishes and kitchen and barbecue utensils must be clean; rubbish disposed of in appropriate containers; walls, windows, doors, and pool must be undamaged and free of graffiti). Any damage or breakage must be compensated at replacement value. Minor items broken during the stay should be replaced with similar items; for more significant damage, the agency must be informed.

Guests must not engage in annoying, unhealthy, dangerous, illegal, or commercial activities, nor store flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials.

Subletting, transferring, or assigning the contract is not permitted.

Charging electric vehicles at the accommodation is prohibited; any such use will be deducted from the security deposit.

Guests must respect community rules and avoid noise, especially after 10:00 p.m.

Guests must allow CAMPING COSTA DORADA representatives to access the accommodation during business hours for property viewings (maximum two visits per week, if applicable).

Maintenance staff must be allowed access for garden and pool maintenance.

Guests are responsible for safeguarding personal belongings; insurance covers only the owner’s property.

Guests must report any damage immediately and allow access for repairs. Unauthorized repairs are not permitted.

Pets must be declared in advance. Where permitted, pets must not use furniture, relieve themselves on the premises, or enter the pool. Breach of these rules will incur a €100 charge.

Grounds for eviction without refund include exceeding maximum occupancy, inappropriate behavior, excessive noise, or damage to property.

  1. CLEANING.

The accommodation is delivered clean. Guests must leave it reasonably clean, without rubbish or food waste, with clean kitchen and barbecue utensils and an empty fridge. Failure to do so will result in a €100 penalty.

  1. EQUIPMENT.

All accommodations are checked before arrival. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours. CAMPING COSTA DORADA is not responsible for internet, water, or electricity outages and does not offer compensation for such issues.

  1. DROUGHT SITUATION.

Mandatory water-saving measures established by public authorities must be respected. Certain services may be affected without compensation.

  1. COMPLAINTS.

Complaints or suggestions may be submitted by email or at the CAMPING COSTA DORADA offices, where official complaint forms are available.

  1. CAMPING COSTA DORADA RESPONSIBILITIES.

If serious issues prevent normal use of the accommodation, CAMPING COSTA DORADA will seek an alternative of similar characteristics and price or refund the corresponding amount. Liability is limited to its role as intermediary.

CAMPING COSTA DORADA is not responsible for third-party negligence, facility malfunctions, theft, force majeure, nearby noise, or delayed appliance repairs.

Any compensation for moral damages is limited to the total rental amount paid.

  1. PERSONAL DATA.

The client authorizes the inclusion of personal data in CAMPING COSTA DORADA files.

Purpose: To provide requested services and send commercial communications; ensure compliance with COVID-19 safety measures.

Legal basis: Contract execution, legitimate interest, consent, and public interest mission.

Recipients: Public authorities, tax authorities, financial institutions, and security forces.

Rights: Access, rectification, limitation, objection, portability, and deletion of data.
